CPU fan @100% - BIOS at automatic

So my asrock 970m pro3 mobo shows my cpu temp at 37*C and I have the CPU FAN 1 setting at automatic and CPU TEM target at 65*C and Target fan speed at level 1 and the CPU fan still goes at 100%.

The CPU fan is a 3 pin and the header is a 4 pin is that the problem?

Problem: CPU fan is 3 pin not 4 pin so no control over fan speed

Download SpeedFan, you can use it to control the fan.

Then watch the video to set it up, but prepare your eyes for terrible camera angles. (Still understandable)

Tried it. Doesn't work with 3 pin fans

Then if you want to control your fans you will have to buy a fan controller.

I bought a new CPU cooler (in the meantime I got a 4 pin fan)
