GTX 660 Windforce want to replace a broken part/resistor

AdrianS_DRI

Hello

I'm new to this forum, I want to ask bout my gtx 660 windforce 2Gb which is broken from not posting. the fan is spinning but still not posting. I tear it apart and found some nasty soldering. I suspect it was this resistor from this pcb that causing it. I highlighted the part that I was curious to replace at this image. Do you know what the part is? or the type of the resistor ?
Thank you

Thats a fuse. Try a new one. Its connected to the 12v rail and probably a few amps.

Since its bad, that probably means that there is a deeper problem that that didn't go boom since the fuse went first.

Thank you for your reply! Do you know what type of fuse it is? On the fuse it's written -10 or 01-, probably I'l search the fuse on ebay

Looks like more than a fuse problem, looks like a bad mosfett. Unless your experensed with surface mount soldering, you can't easily fix it. Look at the mosfet 3 to the right of the highlighted one.
