Finding a Nintendo switch!

Thelillypad123

I have a serious itch to play some Zelda after watching the spectacular reviews that it got. The problem is I can't find anywhere near me that has one in stock. I live in Northern Virginia. Does anyone know any secrets or tips to help me on my journey?

It's still quite new, and it's Nintendo, so consoles get in-stock then out of stock in hours. You'll have to either reserve one from a store, or buy an overpriced one on eBay or Amazon (NOT RECOMMENDED.)

I used to be quite active here.

Try to reserve one or something, or set an alert so that you know immediately when in stock. This is the reason I waited 5 hours on launch night lol

"cut".
Basically remove the long original text from your quotes, to avoid making people scroll more for nothing. It's the decent thing to do when quoting LONG posts, especially when quoting someone who posted pictures. Not really used when it's just a few lines.

I saw three here at the Wal-Mart.  Think they are still there.  I would have to check again.

Yep, just checked online.  The North Side one here still has some.

It doesn't look like it's a Wii situation, Nintendo has promised they have a lot more coming soon. So just watch amazon, newegg, target, bestbuy, walmart, etc with a hawkeye and you should find one soon enough. I have heard the scalpers are losing their asses on these consoles with how many Nintendo was able to produce. I have seen them as low as $350 on craigslist. I remember the first 2-3 days the Switch was out you could find them all over Target stores in the area.

I'm in the lower southeast of Alabama.  Our North side Wal-Mart in town has a few left.

Just keep checking gaming retailers online till one pops up, then quickly grab it as fast as you can. I missed the pre-order launch on the Switch since I was working, but patience and determination got me a preorder that popped up. Also Nintendo stated they'd be doubling production so i could imagine it won't be terribly hard to find one even in stores.
