Newb Question about 1080ti

spotnyk

I've never been in a position to buy a bleeding edge GPU until now. I have a 1080ti on order, and I'm just curious as to how much is the usual amount of time, in situations like this, for nvidia to get more inventory to the market? I'm waiting to build my new rig until this is available, so I'm anxious. :P

Thanks

It comes in stock every day. Your best bet is to try an alert site such as nowinstock.com

I just bought one this morning.

Just bought one for 835. Calculated tax and shipping cost and I only paid about 50 bucks more then if I got it from Amazon. Don't know how the dude made anything off it since PayPal and eBay fees would cost him 125. I got a new EVGA so I got the full warranty for it.

CPU: 6700K Case: Corsair Air 740 CPU Cooler: H110i GTX Storage: 2x250gb SSD 960gb SSD PSU: Corsair 1200watt GPU: EVGA 1080ti FTW3 RAM: 16gb DDR4

Other Stuffs: Red sleeved cables, White LED lighting 2 noctua fans on cpu cooler and Be Quiet PWM fans on case.

Nice! Congrats! I finally got confirmation from Newegg today that mine was shipping. *looks at cost* Let's see, after tax and stuff, it was $714.98. I guess that's not bad, for having it on order since launch day.

How'd you get that? Lol it's 699 plus .0825 tax in NY makes it 757 plus figuring about 30 for shipping (one day delivery cause I'm impatient. Either way nice grab.

My reference cooler with GPU usage at 75% only say 60 degrees on the GPU.

I don't like the aesthetics of the reference card though. The ASUS Strix or the EVGA FTW3 look really nice.

Can't wait to get a water block on mine. With the stock cooler it hits in the 1900mhz range out of the box think I won the silicon lottery
