How long till 1440p ultrawide/4k 120Hz?

Zandvliet

Hi all,

I've wanted a ultrawide for a while now but I'm still waiting on them to come with 1440p 120Hz IPS. I would imagine it would happen somewhere this year but has anyone has heard any rumors from any of the vendors?

Cheers.

Thanks, but this isn't an IPS panel.

I've read it is indeed an IPS panel, here and here and here and pretty much everywhere.

I'm pretty excited about that thing, not that I'll buy one since I just bought the 1440p version!  But 27" is too small for 4k IMO.  Should be at least 32" and ideally more like 40".

the difference between 100hz and 120hz will be so minimal most wont perceive it.

go with an ASUS Pg348q or an Acer Predator x34a and you wont be dissapointed

That might be true, I've been using 144Hz for a couple of years now and therefore prefer at least 120Hz. The Asus and Acer are a bit too expensive for me.
