1060, 1070 strix performance

Kd4lif3

Hi there. Imm probably getting my graphics card soon and I was just wondering from others experience, how well do the 1060, 1070 strix preform. Specifically in games like arma 3, csgo, and other AAA fps games. I will probably run them at 1080p and my hardware is:

cpu, 6600k (overclocked 4.5 or something)

mobo, asus z170-a

case, master box 5

psu, corsair cs650m

I would like max settings but I have been on intel i-gpu for a while so anything goes at this point.

Depends what res and refresh rate, 1060 will be sufficient for 1080p 60hz (and some 1440p) and 1070 will be sufficient for 1080p 144hz/1440p 60hz(and maybe a bit of 4k) although I'd personally get the RX 480 over the 1060

Sorry didn't see that you said 1080p, but depends how long you wanna keep the card and refresh rate still.

If you are going to get a 144hz 1080p then the 1070 will give you a much smoother experience that the 1060 would (at least everyone with 144hz says, never tried it)
