How to check a second hand PC

Go to solution Solved by flibberdipper,

If you really want to put it through the ringer, run AIDA64 and Furmark at the same time. :P

Of course you'll want to run memtest86+ too just to validate the RAM is working, but that can take a good long while.

I got a PC with i7 950, 500mb sata HDD, intel dx58so motherboard,4gb ram, amd radeon 2gb graphic card.  I installed windows 7 it was working fine and i was able to install and configure graphic drivers also. It cost me about 5000Rs only so  how can i check all parts are doing good or is there any problems ?  any software tools or applications are there or else how can i check it manually

Run stress test like @tmcclelland455 said. Prime95 is alternative to Aida64 for free. Also run benchmarks (unigene valley/heaven, timespy, firestrike, cinebench...)  and compare score with similar aystem
