The most significant thing here is that Apple has dropped the entry price into the 9.7" iPad from $499 to $329 whilst increasing the performance, battery life and storage capacity. Interesting that they decided to reuse the iPad Air 1 shell rather than stick with the Air 2 design, perhaps a manufacturing surplus?

Edit: Added battery capacity increase, hardware shell and RAM type change, table of iPad comparisons from Anandtech

I cannot remember the last time I saw an iPad in public.

muh specs

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Not really. People use them (Android/Apple). I'd prefer having a table over a laptop for when I travel for a long period of time. It's much more convenient and easy

Most people with Ipads dont carry them everywhere from my experience, but rather just use them at home. Like, sitting on a couch browsing FB with it, instead of sitting at a computer. Most of these people also have iphones.

ios for me because:

-long OS support (can i bitch about security?)

-jailbreak (i find jailbreak tweaks that I useto look better, and function better than most android equivalents)

-imessage (some people use imessage over, any other alternative..)

-good performance

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Yeah. Office, word, emailing. Some people will use their phones for emails, but I like a bigger screen with a lot of surface area.
