Okay. So after I do this fresh restart. Any Apps/Utilities you recommend downloading? like mayve Avast Anti-Virus? CCleaner?

you will have a fresh start download chrome first than look at this video

Just bought a new MSI Gaming Laptop. I have 2 months of Norton Anti Virus free. Besides WinZip. CCleaner and Afterburner. What apps should I download on my PC to either help it run better or protact it from malware, Spyware and Viruses?

uninstall all of that unless you plan on continuing to pay for it

Well Norton is free for 2months so may as well use it right?

I have to pay for Afterburner? I thought it was free? especially for MSI product owners...

Oddly enough despite having 8GB of Ram and a i7-7700Q CPU. Things tend to lag and load a little slow for me? is this normal or am I missing something?

that's not normal, reinstall windows when you buy a new laptop to remove all the preloaded bloat.

By reinstall you mean restarting the laptop and using the start screen prompts to reset the device to vanilla? won't it just reinstall the bloat along with it?

I would also doe load the Intel extreme tuning utility to undervolt your CPU to reduce hear while gaming. I've been able to reduce about 10 C in my GS73VR just from unvervolting .055.

Nice recommendation. That was definitely a concern of mine as I know Laptops easily overheat. especially when gaming.
