Do you know if they are compatible and have the right ports? I plan on making a testbench-ish case.

I actually got a supermicro X7DCA-L server board for my server last year that has a PCIe x16 slot that I would be willing to sell to you since I am not using it. Other than that that is the boartd I would buy. Unfortunately, it looks like I bought one of the last few because the boards left on ebay now are going for $100+

Could I decent gaming pc for a reasonable price with it? is it compatible with the above processor? Are the above processors worth it?

Sorry for all the questions i'm a Newb...

Thanks!

you would probably be better off trying to find a board that supports a single xeon and buy a single xeon rather than trying to use a multi socket motherboard as a multiprocessor build isn't ideal for a gaming rig.

also try to get a board that is either atx, micr atx, or itx as it will be hard to fit it into a computer case if it doesn't fit one of these standards.
