Remember back in the days?

When HD was so cool?

And 720p was the jam?

lol, compared to nowadays.

Ahh the good old days, anyone still remember when a man called jesus made a passage through a sea, and when he saved all the animals, good times...good times. What a guy, he was a very nice guy you see...I miss him... Not sure where he went. Ohh well, people come and go. Can anyone relate or is it just me?

One of my earliest tech memories was asking my Uncle if it was possible to make a copy of his original Red Alert onto floppy disks.

I also have a faint memory of playing Alex the Kidd which was built into the Sega system i had.

Later I remember the long nights of playing the EARLY days Runescape on 56K modems and playing Unreal Tournament.

Good memories!

Edit:

ooohh ohoh oh!! Anyone in the UK remember the Car Boot Sales where you could easily get hooky floopy disks with games and applications for Atari?

PS2 and WII...

Pentium 3, that's cool. They are becoming more expensive and rare.

Someone joined the muilti-media craze of the 90's...

Atari ST 520fm, How was that PC?

Windows XP was the oldest operating system I used, until this year when I used Windows 1. I grew up with Windows XP. I remember fond memories of GTA: SA, and how my parents freaked out when my brother made me play it.

I'm still using the 6510b as my daily laptop and work laptop. Having an actual socket for the CPU is great.

Yeah, I slightly remember Windows XP. All I remember is the shutdown and boot up sounds. My Windows Vista experience was actually kinda nice. I really liked vista, and against everyone said about vista it's actually not bad. I mean I did have an Athlon X2 and 4GB of RAM for that era so it helped alot. Though at its last years of service (Around 2014) the thing became uselessly slow compared to the my current PC (By 2014 my current PC being already 2 years old). I keept the machine another year and that's when I entered the world of tech. I opened the poor old PC and saw that it was horribly clogged with dust. It was too late to save it though. It died a few days later. That's when I immediately cleaned my current PC afterwards. That's how my current PC is alive despite being almost 5 years old. They coinsidently ended up both being HP's and having AMD CPU's and Having Nvidia GPU's.

Yeah, Vista wasn't bad. PC's was just not ready for the havoc that was... THE AREO THEME!

Vista was like the Crysis of OS'es... So glad Windows 7 refined Windows Vista.

I guess HP didn't want to be considered a fanboy of companies...

Heh yeah, I think HP just shoved as much as they could into that Windows Vista Machine as they could to make it run. Well lets say it did its job a bit too well. The Areo theme looked so good in 720p back in the day. That old PC never cared about anything vista had to offer. The Athlon and Nvidia Chipset graphics were OP for Vista. Hell it never BSOD on me. The thing was in my opinion the best Vista installation I have ever had. My Current PC actually used the integrated graphics stock since APU's are that awesome. 1st gen A6 for the freaking win. But Athlon X2 4800+ vs A6 3660, Well there is no competition. My current PC is like double or triple the power of my old PC. I installed a GT 730 later on so thats why its convenient coincidence that they both use AMD CPU's and Nvidia GPU's
