Limited RGB over HDMI not working using usb-c hub

I just got this aukey usb-c hub with four usb ports and an hdmi at the end. I plug it into my laptop, then I plug in the hdmi from my tv, which can only support limited RGB, and the colors get crushed because it is displaying full RGB instead of limited RGB. Normally if I had plugged in the HDMI directly to the HDMI port on my laptop instead of the usb-c hub, I would go into the intel HD graphics options and change the "quantization" range to limited, which would fix this issue, but those options have completely disappeared. Are there any workarounds or hacks to change it to limited RGB?
