Cryorig H5 Ultimate vs Phanteks PH-TC12DX

Zac w

Hey guys,

So I have been doing some research this morning regarding these two coolers and for the life of me I can't make a decision as I can't find a side by side comparison.

Just looking for some input or if anybody can link reviews which compare the two that would be fantastic as they both cost me the exact same here in Aus.

The H5 is better and performs similarly to the NH-U14S whereas the PH-TC12DX is better compared to the NH-U12S.

That's pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear XD. Thanks for the response ! do you happen to have any links to performance data comparing the two?

There aren't any good benchmarks I can find comparing the two. Here's a good representation of the PH-TC12DX: http://www.eteknix.com/phanteks-ph-tc12dx-cpu-cooler-review/6/

As for the H5, most good reviews are off of the slightly worse Universal as opposed to the Ultimate: http://www.nikktech.com/main/articles/pc-hardware/cpu-cooling/cpu-air-coolers/4829-cryorig-h5-universal-cpu-cooler-review?showall=&start=5
