Another Galaxy phone explodes on a 5 year old (REPOST)

Djole123

To be clear, this is NOT a Galaxy Note 7. The source clearly says it was a Galaxy Note 4.

Welp, that happened.

Another Galaxy phone exploded while a 5 year old was sleeping while the phone was charging next to her.

The Lingling family was suddendly woken up to a popping sound around 4 a.m, when they saw the phone combusted and their daughter's face with burn marks.

They quickly rushed her to hospital where she was medically treated. She is fine but has hard time eating or talking due to burn marks being very painful.

I'm quite sad but this could be easily prevented if the phone was charging away from the bed. You should do that. Not saying it will happen to you, but taking 20 seconds out of your life by putting it a few feet from you is a good preventive.
