Based on Intels HEDT platform history, they will likely skip X399 and go to X499. My X99 rig should keep me going until then, whatever they call it.

I would only really consider it if Intel either releases something that is a drastically greater improvement over their Broadwell-E chips and/or they actually price the hardware near something competitive.
