Razer Blackwidow TE keeps disconnecting

i have bought this keyboard this year and within a month it started randomly disconnecting, half the time not even lighting up and applying key strokes. after a synapse update it fixed itself up and has not done ever since for 2 months and has only just started up again now.

oddly it only happens when i'm in windows not in games but it really pisses me off that keeps disconnecting and reconnecting over and over again.

tried other ports and does the same thing i even have the razer deathadder and its not affected at all just the keyboard.

I dont know if it a timing thing as it only happened once during midday but most commonly does it at night.

its a really good keyboard and i have no complaints for it except for the fact that it decides to do this  disconnect and reconnect thing now.

Are the USB plugs on the keyboard broken? (The ones used to connect to the computer) By that I mean is is bent, misshapen, etc...

when i take out the USB end and look at the male and female connector they all look fine to me.

what i did notice was when i turn the PC on the keyboard lights up then turns off rapidly but unplugging the USB from the mobo to another one while it booted up seemed to fix it. could it be my motherboard?

if you want my mobo model its: GIGABYTE Z170-XP-SLI

You can try using the keyboard on another PC to see if this issue persists. If the issue persists while on another PC, then it could be the keyboard itself having issues. Otherwise, the issue may be due to your system instead, perhaps hardware or software related.

Please contact us at http://rzr.to/help and let us look into this issue with you.
