What's your desk ornament of choice ?

I know there is already a long-ongoing "show off you setup" thread, but i was wondering more specifically what your desktop ornament is, not interested in PC related gear for once. i'm sure everyone has a cool or interesting object on their PC desk. These guys are my monitor mascots, 150g aluminium cube and 1Kg tungsten cube

 

(and a bonus clonezilla stick in the background, orange of course)

I just like that stuff laying around, because it inspires me when drawing for example.

its because i saw michael's cube in an earlier video and i instantly needed to own some tungsten haha. unfortunately i couldnt afford the ridiculous 2.5" beast that he had though

man, my friend pulled out a deck of pokemon cards the other day and i felt so bad telling him i never learnt how to play, i just traded the coolest cards with other kids

i used to have a brass phone stand i made by hand from a sheath but it didnt fit after i got my new desk so now i dont really have one, i guess the closest thing would be the lamp part thats still atached to my mic holder(i have one of those arm lamps, and i took the lamp part off but i couldent take the entire thing of without destroying the lamp part so its still attatched)

After watching that video with Michael from Vsauce i also wanted those cubes or rods of different alloys. 

Right now though. All i have is a Buddha statuette (Cast resin) and some scented candles.

I have thousands of Pokemon cards and have almost no idea how to actually play the game. Never knew anyone who played the trading card game, barely knew any people over the years who liked Pokemon too..

man it was huge in the UK in the late 90's when i was in primary school, every kid on the playground had pokemon cards and everyone wanted the legendary shiny charizard

 

now you can get one on ebay in 5 minutes, will cost you a bunch of money tho

Behind my desk are two of the eight DIY glass wool acoustic panels I built for my room, and between them is my diploma from music school.

It's hard to determine what my favourite ornament is, but I think the best ornaments are a reflection of the user.

My little canvases, pop vinyls, and some nice stuff like a headphone hanger, phone doc, soundlink, etc. Ill get the oic up in a sec.

On the the desk itself a cmos battery, a couple AA's, my DIY TrackIR, random zip-tie and a ruler. On the shelves above the desk 40-50 1/32 scale WW2 tanks and 7-8 aircraft.

I have a little T-34-85 1/76 scale model sitting at my desk sometimes, My younger brother loves to take the poor thing apart and he lost the gun barrel once and since then I never let him touch it. I play a lot of World of Tanks so thats why I have the thing. I might get a Jagdtiger at some point

I really dont have much, I do search the internet every now and then for a Kerbal bobble head for my desk, but so far have come up short. 

 

I also really want to make a small desktop Torsen on the 3D printer in my office, but havent had the time lately.

Jankiest thing of all time, but if you can get the whitelist off of the wifi port, it totally works

The drivers BSOD the machine if you boot it without the card installed though, so... that kinda puts a damper on the portability side of things...

that's hilarious, i never trusted these things man, but its still funny that external GPU was a thing for like 10 years before the razer core
