I'm just saying this out of perspective for the value that those hardware combos would have, I personally won't use a machine that doesn't have at least 8 threads because many of the games that I play are very fast and I will value guaranteed perfect smoothness over higher framerates. Many are different in this aspect though.

Personally, I wouldn't pick either of those hardware configurations because the average and/or the frametimes would be too low or too high respectively for me.

what are you talking about? both would deliver at least 60fps

60 fps at medium graphical settings for the 1400+1050 ti combo or 60 fps high with some games having shitty frametimes on the 1200+570. I would just save my money and go for a 1400 to balance out the latter.

the ti can do high/ultra at 1080p

In non graphically demanding games seeing as the 1050 ti is similar to the 960 4gb, the 570 is a perfect 1080/60 at high card for some of the more demanding games like rottr, fallout 4, ect. My main laptop for example is very similar to a 1400/570 combo and I run most things at high settings and it works perfectly, even more so due to the oc'd 100hz g-sync monitor on it.
