Little stickers on a laptop/PC, do you keep them?

I'm curious what you guys think. My PC case has no little stickers (no Intel badge or little Sapphire sticker), and I hate the way Windows laptops come covered in stickers all over the bottom half. For example, I've just bought a Yoga Book and the bright blue Intel badge totally ruins the minimal look.

Maybe it's because I came from Macs, which don't do them, but I never put them on, and remove them whenever I see them. How about you guys?

They're cancer and should be illegal to put on devices that I'm buying. It ruins the aesthetic and they're a bitch to get off.

 

I know what hardware is inside of it, so I don't need an "Intel Inside" or "Nvidia GeForce Graphics" sticker to remind me how much money I wasted - I already know.

I usually keep the Intel sticker but nothing else, unless it starts peeling up or getting dirty at the edges. It doesn't really bother me. My desktop, on the other hand, has no stickers.

I was so disappointed when my 2 850EVO drives didn't come with Samsung SSD stickers. Apparently the 840EVO had them. Some OEMs have black Intel badges now. Those would probably look better.

as a teen/student i would keep the intel and nvidia badges  just to gloat having a dedicated gpu lol

 

as i got older i took that shit off asap

yeah, it was a 'Samsung EVO activated' sticker. quite nice 

 

I keep the stickers on most of my machines, but on my last laptop it was at the bottom. I still have a Windows 7/Core i5 sticker on my laptop even though it runs MacOSX and Windows 10 now..

I take pictures of them on the device incase there is any info i need later, and then get rid of the hideous things!

I have the Athlon badge, Powered By EVGA badge, and the HyperX badge on the front of my PC, but my case was already ugly so it didn't matter. My laptop has all of them removed because they annoy me much much more

Usually if you buy a high end laptop they will only have an intel sticker which I am fine with. The cheap walmart laptops basically have a vinyl wrap of stickers that leave sticky resin forever

I feel the same, I had the badges on my old case but on the back, so they were there but not in my face. But on a laptop, they're right there all the time and it just sort of feels cheap and nasty, so they're gone.

I used to keep them on not caring until I got my MacBook.  After I finally upgraded to my Inspiron 7559, I realized how much cleaner the MacBook looked without stickers, so off they came from this laptop.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

remove the photo from your quote mate makes it easier for mobile users to scroll through the forums.

If i would like to have stickers on my pc i would put them on myself, so i would have to say carefully remove any factory stickers and clean the area.

For my laptops, I tend to keep the stickers on as they keep the original aesthetic. For my desktops that I built, I'll sometimes put the stickers on, but the issue is because the hardware can change, removing the stickers can be annoying if you want them to match what's in the PC.

 

Currently, I also have a custom sticker on it of a character from a TV show, along with an ASUS sticker, and one from Seasonic.

For my desktop I kept the XFX badge on it just because it said; "play hard." Even though I switched cases by now :P

 

For my laptop I want to take all the stickers off but I don't want it to leave stains and smudges so they're still on there..

You know what I dont get, people who spend 10's of thousands of dollars on a vehicle and leave stealerships logo on the vehicle.

Or they slap a CAA/AAA sticker on it like the tow truck driver is looking for the sticker.

The people who remove car badges normally aren't going for a clean look, they're normally trying to hide the fact they bought the bottom level version.

When I got mine I immediately upgraded the RAM from 6GB to 16GB and swapped in an SSD.  The stickers I could care less about.
