With the release of the recent Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, MSI is celebrating it with their Camo series limited edition line up. The line up includes laptops, desktop, motherboards and Graphic Cards. From March 7th 2017 through June 30th 2017, depending on the what users has purchased, they will get either the game code, season pass, or both. Not only that,some of the items part of the Camo series gets you free bundle gifts such as Camo themed, backpack, water bottle, mouse pad, Steel Series gaming controller, etc.

Cool they have a whole color scheme but man that looks out of place and meh. Maybe if it wasn't a desert camo.

Yeah it looks a little crappy IMO. I think urban/snow camo would look better and fit nearly any color scheme.

The GPU and motherboard did alright... but that laptop is completely overboard. Love your laptops, MSI, but not that one.

I agree with many of you. Yeah it looks Okay... But i think it would look better with their Vibrant MSI colors but Camo.

 

That Gaming red they do, but with urban camo. Shit even if they stepped outside their colors...

 

That Gigabyte green they used or the sniper boards. Ugh either one of those in Camo makes my naples hard.

It's okay looking but I prefer their artic white themed components. They should have done an artic camo option (not really wild lands themed but still)

Got it, but that isn't how uniform digi-patterns are made.

I submit to the courts, the following evidence:

US Marine Corps desert MARPAT. The colors don't "pop" as much as MSI's; however, they cannot exactly copy a specific nation's digital patterns since they are all copywritten.


If they went for the woodland style of dark green, it wouldn't be too visible in a case without pure white lighting.

Is there snow in Ghost Recon? If so, I haven't found any yet. An urban might work, but considering that there aren't any huge built up urban areas, I'm not sure that would apply too much.

 

However, I can agree, several options might be nice. But their products seem a bit limited too. Why not capitalize on the Ryzen launch? Why not provide other GPU options? And why only on those two Laptop models? I got it, its a limited thing, but I'd like to see it on something a little bit more worthy.

I haven't played the game yet but I've seen videos that have arctic levels with arctic camo uniforms and arctic camo guns from pre-release, whether they made it to the final product or not I don't know.

 

I'll say the color they offer is probably more representative of the game, I just don't personally think it's that appealing.
