MSI Gaming series, ASUS Strix series and Gigabyte G1 are all great brands.

I'd recommend the air cooled ones if you've got good airflow in your system.

Using the MSI ARMOR 1070 OC here :)

enjoying it all the time

though the hybrid should give better results at cooling i think its a bit overpriced and there is no problem with the air cooled ones unless you REALLY want to keep your GPU at 30 degrees the whole time which even the hybrid one I don't think its capable with doing it

I have the hybrid 1080 and it is great having my card at 36 degrees even after playing Dishonored 2 for over an hour.

well a 1080 is a 1080 :)

premium card

it doesnt need to stress itself for a lot of games to get a good fps value

but still 36 degrees are not 30 ;)

Excellent points, just pointing out that the hybrid keeps everything nice and chilliy

I have an AIO water cooled 970, and the biggest thing I loved about it, was the fact that I never had to worry about overheating or dust on my motherboard. For me, those long term goals were ideal. If you can afford it, I think it the best option. Nothing is wrong with the air coolers either.
