When R5 CPUs are out you can make some good console killer builds for cheap.

Biostar has historically opted for cheap and bad. They could change but they'll have a lot of proving to do. And this board has a 4 pin cpu connector...

Dell was having a $600 off sale for the fully specced out model, so I decided to get it :P

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.

If I was going to to do my university course this year instead of going into it 10 years go I would jump at the bit for an 8 core M-ITX system at the prices Ryzen is going for!

The latter half of my studies I did get an M-ITX system because it was so damn easy to port around during holidays, workshops, and friends', only had a little 2600K Sandy-Bridge in it though; it was replaced with a rMBP in my final year.

I'd like to know what benefit X370 has over B350 on an ITX board. You can't SLI/CF on it anyway and both have the same configs for storage/IO and both have overclocking, so why get the more expensive X370 chipset when B350 is a cheaper solution for the same functionality.

Many people simply don't see the point of gigantic ATX mobo  and big tower cases when they have no plan to SLI or Crossfire. ITX build makes so much more sense.
