Just upgraded and i cant get my favourite settings, no matter what i do?

You using Nvidia?

I don't use AMD so not sure how well this will work. But in Nvidia control panel, you override GPU scaling and set it to stretched and that does the trick. 
Here is a link from AMD for there scaling, so see if you can match the nvidia settings with that.

If you've tried scaling the picture through the GPU settings and gotten nowhere, you might have to look in the monitors menus to see if there's an image scaling option that sets the aspect ratio correctly instead of stretching it out.
