Finishing 3D Prop Prints

I am Kind of new to 3d printing only had mine for a month or so.  I just finished the long process of printing a Fallout Laser Pistol.  I am in the process of assembling the pieces and getting it ready for Paint.  I have a couple of places that need filling because of warps, top layer holes, and general seams where some of the pieces meet.

What do you use to Fill work on your prints.  I printed in PLA.  Having spend 150+ hour printing this thing I don't want to ruin it with improper filler material.

for pla, lots and lots of sanding and bondo for unwanted voids. Also, DO NOT rush finishing.

I use automotive car bog - it stinks super bad so use in an open area, but mix the hardener in and go to town on the areas of your model you want to patch - then use generously wet sandpaper to bring it back into shape. Use 2 part epoxy to glue pla bits together or fill small areas, and finally... don't even think of using power sanding tools, you'll melt the print apart. Have fun! :D

Thanks everyone.  I didn't want to jump in with bondo or epoxy and ruin a part or two,  I don't like using 2 part fillers but is sounds like the best thing.  I did get some of lock tight 2 part putty.  It looks like that mighty putty stuff.  It worked well to fill in part that needed some extra sculpting.
