Maybe a good idea to add a section to discuss VR & MR with the boon this year.

Or I am blind it is already there ...

I have an article to post about MR that is fairly interesting but its not really a news item its more of an update on the tech.

I was not sure were to post it so I thought that maybe it would be good to add this section, this tech is getting popular by the month and so much is being done. Microsoft, Oculus, Google etc are doing so much. :D

What's MR? Mixed Reality? I've only heard of Augmented Reality.

Wouldn't this just go under PC gaming? To my knowledge it isn't as active as daily builds so it seems like an unnecessary section. This isn't as active forum as Reddit no matter how much I wish it to be.

Yes. With MS Hololens they are referring to it as Mixed Reality.

No because not all VR is gaming such as the MR and AR (Mixed Reality and Augmented Reality respectively)

I am super stoked about MR, IMO it is better than VR.

I agree 100% but they consider it a peripheral even though you could have someone developing games or programs for them

Ah thats true, I did not consider it a peripheral.

I suppose that all VR head sets are technically peripheral but the Hololens is pretty much self contained. I guess we will see how this plays out. *shrugs*

Never said they weren't. There is a subforum for Displays and one for Peripherals. VR should go into the Displays subforum since it has its own subforum

I do support a standalone sub forum, but not yet. Currently there is still not enough content imo. 

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
