Dell Inspiron Gaming 15 7567 (2017)

I'm in america and I don't see it on Amazon either.

Can someone fine an actual link to this, in either country? (Though living in Canada, I would appreciate that personally)

LTT keeps sending us search Links when we all know that they hardly work for stuff like this. I hardly think "Final Fantasy 14" is close to "Dell Inspiron 15"

Oh look, another black/red laptop. It's like designers can't see more than 2 colors.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

There is no Amazon link for it. Only the Dell site has it,

Supposedly Dell said there would be an IPS version. But alas, it's not there.

in this video linus said that you could build a desktop with better performance then this laptop. im kind of questioning this.

if you include all the addons a laptop has over a desktop such a keyboard, display, wifi, ups bluetooth, speakers and mouse. i dont really think it would be very easy to beat this laptop in price to preformance.

lets see. i3 processor. 150$

ddr4 8gig 60$

480gig ssd 80$

mobo  90$

gpu 140$

psu 400w 40$

1080p display 100$

mousekeyboard combo 20$

wifi card 35$

bluetooth dongle 35$

speakers 30$

case 30$

800ish $ right there. not too far off from the asking price of this laptop.

I tried speccing out a build as well based on the $950 version, which uses an i7-7700HQ and a GTX 1050 Ti:

This was just for the computer itself. I stopped here because I figured adding the peripherals would add at least $100, and that's not including the OS. Granted I could skimp on the case, but at best that'd be $40 off. The other thing here is that the GTX 1050/1050 Ti in laptops performs the same as the desktop version. So even if you configured a desktop gaming rig, you're getting the same graphics performance.

(Also you chose an i3, the laptop has an i5-7300HQ which is an actual quad core).

So as a thing for people in general: if you want portable power, Dell's Inspiron 15 7000 series (or similar budget gaming laptops from ASUS and MSI) is your best bet. It also helps that you know, you can actually use the laptop on the go or whatnot.

Well you still need a Keyboard, mouse and a monitor to use that pc, so it could end up higher than the laptop 9_9

Dell couldn't figure out what to call their budget gaming laptop, so they went with the same thing as last year - Inspiron Gaming 15 (2017)..

Buy Dell Inspiron 15 on Amazon: http://geni.us/W7FAV

Just checked: the base price got slashed down $100 since Linus' review (now at $799).

So not only am I new here, but I'm writing this on this exact model (well, the step down-I didn't get a 1050 Ti in this one) and I LOVE THIS LAPTOP. Linus, you know your stuff, and man, I am happy you pushed this laptop on your channel! This thing's a powerhouse for the money I spent on it, and all things considered, I cannot complain as I can beef this thing up the rest of the way for cheap! This does literally all I need it to and more!

So, I have just put an NVME drive in mine and the bios recognises it, but it won't allow me to boot to it/install Windows on it. It also doesn't show up in the disk manager. Help!? If anyone knows of a forum post explaining how to set this up, they'd make me very happy!
