I said "we". The very small pcmr community in Turkey. Not "very intellegent politicans who locks down the internet connection anytime they feel like it".

I've got last year's 7559 as my computer at work.

Really can't complain for what I paid (£700) has an i7 6700hq, 16gb ddr3 and a 960m 4gb. 480gb m.2 and a 1tb mech.

It's still a solid little gamer! The 4gb 960m is seriously underrated! Play games at high instead of ultra and 60fps isn't that hard to achieve!

I was looking forward to this year's model as an excuse to spend work money, but for the 1st time in my life I'm skipping my yearly upgrade!

Gaming PC: • AMD Ryzen 7 3900x • 16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz • Founders Edition 2080ti • 2x Crucial 1tb nvme ssd • NZXT H1• Logitech G915TKL • Logitech G Pro • Asus ROG XG32VQ • SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

Laptop: MacBook Pro M1 512gb

Any talk of them coming out with a signature edition? I know my signature edition Dell Inspiron i7559 has a much nicer screen on it versus the non-signature edition. (Full glass, 4k, and touch screen)

in this video linus said that you could build a desktop with better performance then this laptop. im kind of questioning this.

if you include all the addons a laptop has over a desktop such a keyboard, display, wifi, ups bluetooth, speakers and mouse. i dont really think it would be very easy to beat this laptop in price to preformance.

lets see. i3 processor. 150$

ddr4 8gig 60$

480gig ssd 80$

mobo  90$

gpu 140$

psu 400w 40$

1080p display 100$

mousekeyboard combo 20$

wifi card 35$

bluetooth dongle 35$

speakers 30$

case 30$

800ish $ right there. not too far off from the asking price of this laptop.

CPU: I7 8700k @ 5ghz | Motherboard: Asus Z370-Prime | RAM: White Crucial balistix DDR4 2133mhz | GPU: GTX 1080TI | Storage: ssd HyperX 240gig, 2x2tb seagate Firecuda 1tb, BPX 480 gig nvme, 1tb sandisk ssd  | Cooling: Custom loop | PSU: Evga supernova 850w G2 | Case: Phanteks enthoo evolv atx black White modded | system theme: White/RGB/Weiss

That would be nice.

However do be aware that the 4K model of the 7559 used a PenTile not-true-4K display. The Inspiron 7567 fixed the 4K, but of course used a much worse screen for the 1080p than last year's 1080p.

I'd pay extra for an IPS screen. The three things in a laptop that are must haves for me:

1) Keyboard Backlight (I use mine in bed occasionally to watch movies while I drift to sleep)

2) IPS display (again, watching stuff)

3) 6+ hours streaming from wifi battery life

If this had an IPS display, it'd be perfect.
