Ram

Go to solution Solved by Misinthe,

If you motherboard has 4 slots, shouldn't be a problem.

I just bought a kit of 2x8gb, DDR4, 2666MHz (My motherboard only supports 2133MHz) (The ram I just bought was only 6 bucks more for the 2666MHz)

I still have my old kit of 2x4gb, DDR4, 2133MHz.

Would it be ok if added both? (There both different companies)

With RAM you can mismatch as much as you want, what will happen is that the 2666MHz sticks will lower their clocks to 2133MHz.

but is it ok if I add my old 8gb kit from a different brand with my new 16gb kit?

No, your PC should recognize it automatically.
