Cant set M.2 SSDs as boot drives

Simply put, my M.2 SSD's wont allow me to install windows on them. They are classed as 'primary' drives whatever the hell that means. 

Reformated em both but nothing works.

Need help.

Delete the partitions on them before you try to install Windows on them.

Does your MOBO support m.2 BOOT drives

Which ssd is it?  Motherboard?

 

The most common problem imo is that m.2 can only be booted via uefi which is not the default setting for motherboards.

 

There are some additional settings required.

Its an ASUS X99 E WS. I should bloody well hope it does.

Think it had something to do with windows just being a pain in the ass.
