So, I was just about to finish my setup with a k70 lux rgb, but the price on whatever was cheapest on PcPartPicker just went up $30. So is it worth spending an extra $30 or just getting a k65 lux rgb

If you want/need the numpad: get the K70. Otherwise you can go for the K65. I personally got a TKL board after years and years of having a numpad and I don't miss it. Granted, I never really used it though..
