Sales tax is state by state, and in most states, doesn't apply to online shopping.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

Get ready for the price gouge

Retailers have to, else they will have a hard time turning over their existing stores of Intel chips

I really wish electronics manufacturers would start selling direct to consumer. Its obvious retailers don't follow MSRP especially for new products.

Bear in mind MSRP is what the manufacturer would like end customers to be paying. It includes cost of distribution and every intermediary's cut.

I doubt retailers will price gouge. The only time I've seen NewEgg actually do it was during the Bitcoin hype days when everyone was mass buying AMD cards. If they need to get rid of their Intel inventory, they'll just flash sale their stock.  A retailer price gouging on a new product doesn't earn them any favors.

The only ones I'm worried about are the people who hoard the latest and greatest thing and try to turn them over for 50% markup on eBay and Amazon.

Actually wait, I'm not worried about those people. I'm worried about the dumb-butts that actually buy it.

I'd like to see them flash sale a $1000+ Intel chip when the new competing product is $500.

Retailers can price gouge at will. They have done so before, especially when demand outstrips supply to the point where there is no fear of competing retailers selling at lower price.

Except in the US you have a variety of major retailers selling. Maybe in somewhere like Eastern Europe where the pickings are slimmer, but in the US? Not a chance.

Otherwise Amazon, Newegg, etc. would've been officially selling GTX 1080s/1070s $800+

well i'm running 3200 MHz on Skylake and the Z170-A board i bought was $140 at the time... If i'm buying 8 cores at 4 GHz each, i want faster memory than BARELY over DDR4 spec.
