Power Supply for either 970 or 1060.

Hi, I'm planning on upgrading my GPU soon, and was wondering if my power supply was ok or if it needed to be changed. I'm either going to buy a 970 used or a 1060 new, and I have a Corsair CX430.

I'm aware that if I got the 970 I'd have to get a converter to change two molex connectors into another 6 pin pcie power. I also have an i3 6100 and 8gb of DDR3.

Wattage wise, you'd be fine, but I'd try to get something a bit of a higher quality one.

If you're gonna use a 970 I'd probably get a better PSU, but that said, yes, that should work. Most 970s require dual 6-pins

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.
