Sound card or on board ?

Hello there friends.

 

Could any please explain to me what is the difference between  sound blaster z and sound blaster cinema 2 and which is better ?

 

The reason why I'm asking is because I've got the actual card itself (sound blaster z) but I am using sound blaster cinema 2 from my MSI gaming 5 motherboard (on board).

the sound blaster Z might be a bit better, but on board sound isn't actually that bad now, best way I can think of to test them is to listen to some music off the sound card, then the same piece off on board and decide which one sounds better. easiest and best way I can think of

novel, but that's the way you test it really, like one might sound better than the other in theory, but in practice that might not be true
