Second Hand Graphics Card

I want to purchase a second hand Graphics Card.

What things should I check before buying?( I ll meet the owner personally)

And how do  I know if it's the gpu he says it is. For ex: i want tu buy a gigabyte 1060, how do I know it's not an 1050 in an 1060 box?

Meet them somewhere where they can show you the card running in their system. 

Use GPU-Z to check that all the cores are there.

Check that the GPU has no physical damage.

There'll likely be a sticker on the pcb that states which graphics card it is(rx 480 8gb red devil for example). Also, do your due deligence and check online in advance to see if the graphics card pics online look the same as the one you're getting, connectors, shrouds and all.

Open gpuz and look at the core count memory core clocks
