Motherboard standoff holes do not line up

C_dog101

I recently started building a new PC. When I got to the point of mounting my motherboard on the motherboard standoffs every thing was slightly askew. I wanted to start screwing screws to see if it would start to fit into place but I was afraid I might warp the board. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mine had that same issue but I angled the screw so it would line up with the hole. I'm not sure if that is 100% safe but my system has been working for 6 months though,

Just push on the board to the i/o panel. Then screw it in while holding it.
