980 vs RX 480

So, amd drivers have matured since the release of the 480 and it is comparable to the 1060 and beats it in dx 12.What about the 980? Whats the performance difference between those two.

980 is worst at dx12 and Vulkan than both 1060 and 480, if you like older games the 1060 or the 980 is the way to go if you like newer games the 480 is the better choice.

The 480, 1060 and 980 perform about the same in dx11. The 480 is faster than both in low level APIs.
