max 2k € PC

1. Budget & Location

Up to 2000€ (Germany)

2. Aim

Mainly for gaming (no high end 4k stuff, just normal 1080p gaming and some rendering)

3. Monitors

2-3 (no monitors needed yet)

4. Why are you upgrading?

The old pc is simply running old and its time for an upgrade :)

Hi everyone,

first of all, thank you for taking the time to read this and maybe helping me decide, what to build.

I want to build a pc for some not very high demanding games and also for some rendering stuff, like music-videos. Also i would like to build something that will last me for like 5 years (if this is possible).

I am a bit of a Nvidia and Intel fanboy, so please keep that in mind if you are posting something :$

I made some builds the last days, but really don't know what to go for and would like to have some different opinions, before posting, what i thought of buying....

Thanks for helping in advance :)

All that money and all you put on storage is one Blue 1TB? At least put an SSD.

I would say drop one 1080 and add a good SSD, a Black WD and a better case and PSU.

why not ? It'sless than 2 weeks before launch . Surely if OP has been sitting on an old platform for so long he can do so for two more weeks . Regardless of ryzen's performance , this is a 2K euro build here. Spending that kind of money shouldn't be done on a whim. Plus , seeing the recent leaks , it should turn out to be something special.

You don't need a GTX 1080 for 1080p gaming.

if you don't want 4k,  you could spend 1500 and get a top end gaming build, just please stay away from AMD... doesn't matter if it's new or not... You'll probably regret it..

Now I'm not Intel fanboy. I personally love all tech, I've built Intel and AMD systems, and the AMD systems are always budget builds... you have the money, don't invest in budget tech.
