b1250m motherboards need bios update ?

making a g4560 build hoping to get a board thats 1 b250m and been told it doesnt need bios updating but does a b150m board ? or is that why they are alot cheaper >? 

my build is in a  bitfenix prodigy case so needs to have wifi onboard and matx.

The 100 series chipset needs the BIOS update, the 200 series chipset doesn't.

Yes b150 need a bios update. check if you can do it without a cpu else contact the seller if bios is updated

b250m +   g4560 = work out of the box

b150m +  g4560  = will need a bios update

Like they're going to test out 100+ boards just for answering that question.

No, the buyer takes that risk of buying that board. If it does not work, they will have to take it to a local PC shop, and ask them to help update it. On some Asus high-end boards, they can just update it without the CPU.
