What is the difference between these same EVGA GPUs of same model?

4klips

The Superclocked is factory overclocked so that's why it's a bit more expensive.

go cheaper, and overclock it your self if you want one, for the slight performance gain

Is it a bad idea to buy cheaper one and then overclock it to same frequency as in the expensive one?

I really wouldn't imagine. It sounds fine to me.

Nothing.

From my personal experience, you should be able to boost the non-OC to the same speeds as the OC. I managed to get a SC version to the same speeds as a SSC with a little extra voltage. That was with my old 970 though.

Honestly I'd get this one if I were you.  It's not for the overclock, it's for the extra fans.  I've read complaints about the single fan ones getting hot.  I'm only recommending the FTW one because it's the same price as the SSC model.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!
