Not to mention the functionality added to the car. If you would buy all of this functionality that comes with an iPad or a Nexus, you would be broke as hell! You got Wi-Fi, Navigation, Music and Video Player, Social Media hub. Argueably the best modification you can do to your car!

I think this is a first for Linus Tech tips, have never seen anything like this done in my life before, and the smoothness of the look, the Nexus 7 really just fits with the car

Well if you're worried about damaging your current fascia i'd advise going to your local car wrecker and seeing if they have one for sale. That way you can do all your mods and fit the tablet without worrying about breaking stuff. And it was time consuming but certainly not very difficult. I'm only 19 and certainly don't have any qualifications  :P

Going a bit off topic for a second here... How do you like the car? I've been thinking about buying one for the gravel roads, the B Specs are just really hard to find around here and might be an issue.

I love it. As I'm only 19 here in Australia we are limited to the cars we can drive on "P" Plates (Probationary license). We cant have 8 Cylinder cars or Turbo's and there is a Power to weight ratio that we have to adhere to. So the 6 Cylinder boxer engine in the Spec B was basically the limit of what I could drive. Having said that it is seriously quick, the AWD is extremely grippy (even in the wet its really hard to lose traction) and being that mine is manual its great fun to fly through the gears. The only thing is being the Spec B model the suspension is very "sporty" so you do feel the bumps in the road more than you would in a "regular" vehicle. The interior is fantastic , Leather seats , Sunroof , electric everything and there is plenty of compartments for all your stuff. As for the Gravel roads you mentioned , traction wise it would be fantastic but possibly a little rough/bumpy because of the harder suspension also I'd hate personally to get scratches or gravel chips on it  :( . If you want to spend a little less money and dont care about leather seats etc you should look at the 2.5litre 4 Cylinder "Safety Pack" models as they often come with a Sunroof and enough airbags to practically turn the car into a giant balloon upon impact  :) Hope I helped

Awesome mod. Phenomenal pictures, by the way.

Thanks man! I used a Canon 600D with a Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens if anyone was wondering.

The steering wheel is on the wrong side

In case of Subaru its on the right one. Subaru is Japanese car manufacture. Subarus with steering wheel on left are one on wrong side :P

To OP

So crazy skills to get it inside and working and not to screw up car eletronic or tablet itself.

I saw dude making an mITX build into his car and that was cool aswell.
