Built New Computer, but GPU is not working

Jacobmb514

I just finally built my new computer, but I have run into some problems. Whenever I power my computer on, everything starts except my GPU. Since my monitor goes through the GPU, I can't see anything in my BIOS. I know this GPU does work because it was in the old computer and is just temporary until I get a 1080. I also tried using a GTX 650ti from an old setup and it wasnt working either. Any thoughts?

@deXxterlab97

I have tried moving the GPU into all 4 pci-e but with no difference. Is there a specific one it is supposed to be in? I also tried using a different cable as well and a different PSU port... and yes I will just give me a second to take one :P

Oh yeah. I think all CPUs should have a VERY BASIC iGPU for beginners and troubleshooting. But Intel uses over half of their CPU dies for graphics lol

I had this problem too, just turn off computer, shut off psu, turn on psu, turn on computer, and then it should work.

Probably a problem with the motherboard. I don't know for sure, but that's my best bet. Might want to call your motherboard manufacturer and talk to them about it.
