I must say I am getting more and more excited with Ryzen by the day, would it hurt Intel not be so damn cheap on their thermal solutions, would it be so hard to include a pretty looking stock cooler on their flagship i7 7700 instead of the same old ugly stock cooler used for years... I really hope that AMD teaches Intel a lesson.

Misspelled "brag". Wanted to write "grab". Mistakes happen.

Just gotta get it hot enough. It'll emit all sorts of color at the right temperature.

Many will be disappointed, that red ring does not change color. So it isn't RGB, it's just R. And AMD forgot about its original logo color which suppose to be Green not Red, therefore it should be green as in the letter G.

I heard AMD might let Intel use their igpus, and future intel cpus might have amd graphics. To celebrate that, AMD, need to add the color blue, aka letter B.

Wraith X is looking fairly low-profile, so a decent option for an mITX system.

He raises a good point, Xmas lights need adding some RGB goodness.

Can you imagine? You could leave them up all year round! Christmas? Just do some red, green, & white. St. Patrick's day? Green and white.

Halloween? Orange and black. Pi day? ....IDK....

But you see my point. And there would be a smartphone app, and it would make Christmas lights great again!

Considering it's amd we should at least get the heatsink to glow red or orange then. Hopefully amd will release a microcode update to allow the CPU to turn the heatsink blue.

Nice, so some AMD CPUs come with a cooler and some don't? Thanks AMD for completely fucking us over. So for people who want to get similar speeds to an i5 equivalent need to pay 170-200$ for the Ryzen 4c/8t, and then probably 20-40 for a cooler just to OC? But I can buy a beautiful i5 7600 off jet.com for 205$ that runs at 4.1GHz turbo that comes with a intel stock cooler that will be fine. Yeah, RyZen is really going to win a lot of budget people over!

This shit is going to flop harder than Bulldozer

A) K SKU Intel processors no longer ship with Intel coolers: They are absolute shit for overclocking, and a waste of our money.

B) For those that intend to overclock these chips to the maximum, air cooling, asides for the absolute best offerings, will not do. Why make those overclockers pay for a cooler they won't use? And for those going for mild overclocks, the Wraith coolers are going to be just as capable as say, a Hyper 212 Evo.

C) The price difference between chips with a cooler and without is almost guaranteed to be the near identical to aftermarket coolers that see the same performance as the Wraith that the chip ships with.

Meant i5 7600, I edited.

C) Total bologna as benchmarks are just speculation at this point

Looking to upgrade to RyZen for an i5 equivalent? You'll be paying more. Especially if AM4 boards are pricey.
