Best Case

Slamp

Hi! I'm new to the forum, but I've been watching Linus Tech Tips for a while now. I'm in a bit of a predicament. I need a new case, as my ThermalTake has some problems. I've been searching for a while and I just have no idea how to find a case big enough for my hardware without being giant. It has to be under 24 inches in height, preferably less than 32 inches in length and less than 10 inches in width. I like the look of the glass panels on the side, and I'm fairly into the whole "minimalist" look without a bunch of complicated angles and annoying colors everywhere. I would like a black case with blue lighting. As far as hardware goes, I have an ASUS p9x79 DELUXE motherboard, AMD RADEON R9380 GPU, 8 sticks of ram, a corsair hydro series H80 cpu cooler, and a corsair HX1050 for power. Those seem to be the things that take the most room. I have two ssd's and a 3.5 inch hdd. Please help me find a good quality case. My budget sits at around $200 but i'd rather not spend too much over $100 on a new case as I'd also like to get some CableMod cables to go with the case.

Motherboards come in different, standardized sizes.

EATX, ATX, mATX, mITX are the most popular.

Your board is an ATX board. Any case that works with an ATX board will work with yours.

You can use PCPartPicker, go to the cases section and sort with the other requirements you have.

Cases are a pretty personal thing, so there's no such thing as the "best case". It's always best to just go and see which ones you like best, then list those and they can be picked apart.

Welcome to the forum.
