Will a 775 MB that only "accepts" Dual-core CPU's accept a Qxxx with a BIOS mod?

snowPT

Hi,

so i think the title explains it all. Will it work?

The board is a Abit lg-95z. Only says it's support till Pentium Dual-Core.

If not Qxxx quad-cores, would it support 771, for example? Of course, all of this through a BIOS mod.

Thanks

Hmm I couldn't say, in theory it should support it if the CPU fits the slot, but as you say, the bios may not recognise it
