AMD is bundling Ashes of the Singularity with the FX lineup-cleaning up for Ryzen?

So, as you know, everyone is highly anticipating the Ryzen launch, but, in order to have it fully prepared, there needs to be some cleaning up.

 

So, there is a deal now on Newegg. For select FX 6 core and 8 core CPU (6300, 6350, 8300, 8320, 8350, 8370), you get Ashes of the Singularity for free

 

That means that AMD is really trying to prepare for Ryzen launch and clear up some stock... what a great time to build some PCs!

 

Also note that AMD is not fully discontinuing the A and FX series, so you can pick up any CPU from the 30$ A4-6300 all the way up to the 650$ Ryzen 7 1800X.

Do we have a confirmation that the 1800X will cost $650? I keep seeing different rumors regarding it's price on a daily basis.

Considering that they don't perform like any true 4, 6 and 8 core CPU.....plus are 5-6 years old (I still think AMD was tweaking Bulldozer well before launch-they just rushed out a lot of engineering samples as the finished product).
