If possible, can you use the wall mounted aircon's large "heatsink" to use as a cooler for the cpu?

People have done that before they require a cold plate to interface with the CPU and insulation to prevent condensation from sub zero temps. It's one of the main reasons extreme cooling solutions like this exist from people tinkering and building a solution:

do you mean *just* the heatsink? or strapping the actual aircon unit's cold side on your processor? because the latter is one of the few things early "extreme cooling freaks" did to get better overclocking results, and directly inspired the case @W-L mentioned was showed in a linus video.

 

if you're talking "just the heatsink", do yourself a favor and get a dual-tower heatsink from noctua :P
