desktop resolution question

I just got an LG 31MU97 and want to run it 4096x2160@60 Hz plus my old monitor (Kogan 27" Cinema Display) at 2560x1440@60 Hz. I have a GTX 760 to run it. I won't be gaming.

According to NVIDIA, it can run 4096x2160@60 Hz over DisplayPort, which I have successfully tested with only the LG connected.

However, when I connect the Kogan over DVI, the LG defaults to 3840x2160@30 Hz and the Kogan runs at 2560x1440@60 Hz.

Playing around with custom resolutions in NVIDIA Control Panel, I was able to achieve 4096x2160@51 Hz + 2560x1440@60 Hz.

Is there something wrong with my setup? Should my GPU be able to run 4096x2160@60 Hz + 2560x1440@60 Hz, or is there some sort of bandwidth limitation, even though both resolutions are below the GPU's max?

If there is a bandwidth limitation, how would you quantify it?

Would a GTX 1050 Ti be able to do what I want?

Thanks

That's quite strange probably an issue with their combined resolution and aspect ratio being different or something although the fact your not gaming does it really matter to have one display at 50hz?

I'm getting some artifacting in videos that aren't present in the 1440p monitor :(

Does anyone know what's up?
