6-core Ryzen 5 1600X Benchmarks shows to be 50% faster then Core i5 7600K

New benchmarks leaked:

The AMD Ryzen leaks and madness doesn't stop. Today some CPU-Z benchmark results have surfaced of what seems to be a six-core Ryzen 5 1600X processor. The 6 core and 12 threaded processor would have a base clock of 3.3 GHz with a 3.7 GHz Turbo. And the performance seems pretty nice.

Honestly I wasn't expecting to see a 6-core enabled part anytime soon as personally I am expecting an 8-core launch only.

Quote

The single threaded (single core) performance of this Ryzen unit shows 1888 points. That is precisely on par with Core i7 6850K single core performance and that I did not expect (thus that is very positive).  We know that the Intel Core i7-6850K clocks in at 6/12 (cores/threads) 3.6 GHz / 3.8 GHz (base clock / turbo clock). So compared 1:1 that is really fricken close on the per core performance. The Ryzen muli-threaded performance shows 12544 points, which is faster then a Core i7-6850K who reaches 10872 points in our own testing.

HYPE!!

IMHO the title is a little bit click bait...i assume +50% is in regards to the Mulit-Threaded performance...single-threaded score i don't know i'd like someone with a i5-7600K to run the benchmark and post his results at STOCK clock WITH boost...since i assume this Ryzen chip is at stock clock with boost...i'll add your screenshots to the post for comparison.

Finally, a CPU-z screenshot that isn't actually fake. I say it isn't because the core voltage isn't being read correctly :P Now, if the pricing is true, Intel should retaliate with a 7 core, 14 thread CPU on 1152 or whatever their next socket is.

only thing that will make me go broke is if Ryzen is actually that much more superior and the 1700x is that much more better than it

If they can get 1888 single-threaded at 3.4ghz just like that...then wow cause here is 4.2ghz haswell...1910...

Interesting. If it's true, I might be getting a new PC this summer. As long as there's no report of anyone having issues with them... Like the god forsaken hypertransport sync flood error that I had with my phenom II 965, before trashing it and buying my current intel CPU.

on the CPU-Z screenshot the CPU is NOT under load though...so most likely during the benchmark run it was boosting higher than 3.4ghz...but still...i assume at this point Zen is AT LEAST haswell level IPC which is good.

not much confirmed about this, but it is a very interesting price, still not going to upgrade unless my 4770k dies or starts acting even weirder.

Hopefully this will shake up the CPU market

oh trust me you don't want it. Every time I turn on my PC it turns off and starts up and goes to the BIOS where it then has forgotten the ram profile. I can take my CPU and move it to another PC and it does the same, the same goes for my motherboard. It also seems to be unstable at stock speeds, not even joking. GW2 can make my PC crash when my CPU is running stock speeds and only hitting 55c.

I will most likely make a LAN PC/NAS with it, since it doesn't matter much there, but it matters a lot when I am doing my 3D homework and it suddenly crashes.

Anybody with a 7600K could post CPU-Z benchmark result at STOCK settings with boost to verify that claim of +50% multi-threaded and also to compare single-threaded score?

Consider the fact that the CPU-z picture is showing a voltage of 0.374v. They wouldn't do that on purpose, because if they did everyone would scream fake (which is what everyone's assuming atm).

yeah it's not 3.4ghz otherwise it would be around 1500 as well i would think...

they have a boost there...still it's not bad if the average Zen CPU can clock to get 1900 single-threaded score more or less like that it still makes it as fast/faster has my 4.2ghz haswell i7...which is pretty good to begin with.

check the CPU load graph on the right...the CPU is idling...when it load it probably boost to 3.9ghz/4.0ghz and the voltage must jump to at least 1.2v or something...
