Mounting a res to a gpus backplate?

So, I currently have a watercooled loop which does only the CPU. and as my case is NOT designed for custom loops there is limited space. I was wondering if I could put the res on the backplate of a graphics card as it will help space alot. Atm I have a small kink in tubing and would really like a solution.

You probably could, but I wouldn't advise it. Once it's full of liquid, it's going to add a fair bit of weight pressing down on the PCIe connector.

Also don't ignore this if you have one of those "reinforced PCIe slot(s)" chances are it'll just break the graphics card anyway.

Yea like they stated, the weight would bother me. I wouldn't have any concerns about doing it aside from that.

Uhhh... The S340 is perfectly capable of fitting custom loops. You can fit a 120mm in the rear, a 240mm in the front and (I think) a 240mm at the top. The weird cover thing that covers your 24 pin cables and whatnot? You can mount a pump there with a bracket.

What bracket would mount to it?

Oops, meant reservoir, but you could get a res that has a pump attached:

You can get a 120 mm adapter and the combo could mount right on the radiator if you have a rad on the front.
