Which Cooler sockets are compatible with eachother?

F.x. I know that AM2+ and AM3+ coolers are compatible with each other.

 

Question is regards to intel sockets, AMD sockets, and maybe even GPU coolers.

LGA115x are all same (so LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155).

Most of the time LGA2011 and LGA2011-3 are also same.

 

But you will need to keep an eye out for non-standard sockets, for example narrow LGA2011(-3). These are mostly on some server motherboards.

Sorry, my OP was misleading, I what I meant about newest info was regarding ryzen and AM4+

But I want a list which covers everything.

There's no general cooling subforum.

AM4+ will be close to AM3+. But if cooler needs backplate, it needs special mounting. The rest of the list... is there really need? Cooler manufacturers specify which sockets are supported in coolers spec listings. As for GPUs, thats more about whole PCB layout than just few screws and brackets.
